Dusty blue is ready. Tap a cell marked 1.

Watch it come to life

Fifteen seconds of White Anemones being painted, one number at a time. Yours will take a few cosy evenings - that's the nice part.

  • The golden centres come first, then the petals fill in colour by colour
  • Then the stems grow and the soft, dusty blue background slowly appears around them
  • Undo any stroke with a tap - no mess, nothing to clean up

How it works

Three small steps, then it's just you and the colours.

  1. Download

Your files are ready straight after checkout and stay in your Gumroad library.

  2. Open in your app

Follow the set-up guide for Procreate or ibisPaint X to bring the template and palette onto your iPad, tablet or phone.

  3. Follow the numbers

Match each number to its colour and paint at your own pace. Then share your anemones in the group 💛

The name anemone is often traced to the Greek word for wind, which is why they’re also called windflowers. Japanese anemones bloom in late summer and autumn, just as the rest of the garden fades - a gentle reminder that some things bloom in their own time 🤍

Questions

I've never painted before. Is this for me?

Yes. Every section has a number and every number has a colour. It's made for beginners and experienced painters alike.

What do I need?

For Procreate, an iPad. For ibisPaint X or ibisPaint, an iPad, tablet or phone. The apps aren't included. A stylus helps on a tablet, but your finger works too.

Procreate or ibisPaint X - which should I choose?

Choose the app you already paint in. Procreate is a paid iPad app. ibisPaint X is free to download and works on iPad, tablets and phones. It's the same painting and the same 99 colours either way. You get one version, with the files and set-up guide made for the app you pick.

Will anything arrive in the post?

No. This is a digital download only. You get your files straight away and nothing is printed or shipped.

What if I spot a gap or a missing number?

With thousands of small sections, you may find the odd unnumbered area, tiny gap or misplaced number. Simply match it to the colours around it or add your own creative touch.

Can I share or sell the file?

The template is for your personal use only. Please don't resell or redistribute it.
